Reimagine Home AI

Privacy Policy

For the iOS app Reimagine Home AI. Last updated 9 September 2026.

Reimagine Home AI lets you photograph a room or the outside of a building and see it redesigned with artificial intelligence. This policy describes what happens to those photos and to the small amount of other data the app sends us. It covers the Reimagine Home AI app only, not the other apps hosted on this domain.

1. There are no accounts, and we do not know who you are

The app has no sign-up, no login, no email address, no password and no social sign-in. We never ask for your name, address, phone number or payment details, and we never receive them.

Instead, the first time the app runs it uses a device-scoped identifier and stores it in your device's Keychain. Every request the app makes to our server carries that value. It is what lets the server return your jobs and subscription status rather than someone else's.

In plain terms, what this means for you:

2. What we collect

Photographs you upload

When you start a design, the app uploads the photo you chose — a room, a facade, a garden — to our server so it can be processed. If you use a masked or "keep this" edit, the mask you draw and any inspiration photo you supply are uploaded too. If you edit a saved design, its local image can be uploaded again so editing still works after the earlier server copy has expired.

Photographs of the inside of a home can incidentally show people, documents, screens or other personal items. Please avoid uploading photos containing anything you would not want processed by a third-party AI provider.

Text you type

The design prompt, editing instruction, room label or project name you enter is sent with the job and stored with its record.

Technical data sent with each request

Your device identifier, and the platform and app version that made the request, so we can tell which build a problem came from.

Job and usage records

For each generation we store a job record: the identifier above, the type of job, its status, the settings you chose, the final design instruction that was sent for processing, timestamps, any error, and — when the automated quality check runs — its verdict. We use job records, output counts, timestamps and operational logs to understand demand, investigate failures and protect server capacity. These records expire within one hour. This version does not use an image credit balance or a periodic design quota to decide whether you can generate.

Subscription status

See section 5. We store Apple's transaction identifier and the product and expiry it carries. We do not receive or store your payment card, your Apple ID, or your name.

What we do not collect

No contacts, no calendar, no health data, no precise location, no advertising identifier, no browsing history. The app does not embed a third-party analytics or advertising SDK, and we do not sell or rent any data to anyone.

3. Your photos are processed by third-party AI services

Please read this section carefully. We do not build, train or host image-generation models ourselves. To produce a design, the photograph you upload, together with any mask or inspiration image and your design instruction, is sent from our server to third-party artificial-intelligence service providers that act as our processors. This happens every time you start a design, and it is the only way the app can do what it does. Version 4.0.0 asks you to allow this sharing before you can use AI processing. You can decline and browse saved designs, or turn permission off later in Settings.

Type of provider What is sent What it is used for
Image-generation services Your photograph, any mask or inspiration image you supplied, and the final design instruction Producing the redesigned image, confining a change to the area you painted, protecting the elements you asked to keep, and upscaling a result to a higher resolution. We may use more than one such service and may switch between them for reliability.
Image-understanding services Your photograph and, for some features, the generated result Reading your photo to turn your request into a detailed design instruction (or writing one from the photo alone when you have not typed anything), producing the renovation cost estimate, and detecting items for the "shop the look" feature. An optional automated quality check also compares your original photo with the generated result to confirm that the room's real windows, doors and layout were preserved and that your requested change was applied.
Text-only language services Text only. Your typed prompt or editing instruction. No image is sent to this provider. Translating what you typed into English before it reaches the image services, so the app works in any language.

We send your images to these providers for the sole purpose of producing the result you asked for. We do not send your photographs to anyone other than the categories of provider described here, and we do not permit them to use your photos for advertising or to sell them. Our one-hour limit applies to copies on servers we operate. Once a provider receives an image, its own retention of that image is governed by its terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. The specific providers and models behind a given feature can change as the technology improves; the categories above, and what is sent to each, will stay accurate, and we will update this page if that changes.

Some parts of the redesign — for example straightening a tilted photo — are done on our own server with no AI model and no third party involved at all.

4. How long we keep things

Images: deliberately transient

Uploaded photos and generated results are written to our object storage under an unguessable key. Every stored image is deleted within one hour of upload or creation. An active expiry process removes old images and stored object versions. Download links cannot extend the image’s retention period.

The durable copy of anything you want to keep is the one on your device. The app saves your results locally and prompts you to keep the ones you care about. Server-side image storage is a working area, not an archive — after the retention window a result can no longer be re-fetched from us.

Records: kept until deleted

The job records, design instructions, usage records and cost estimates follow the same one-hour retention limit. Server copies of verified purchase records also expire within one hour of receipt or verification; Apple remains the source of your purchase history. Active requests may provide updated device details or a newly verified purchase, starting a new retention period for that newly received data.

You can turn off further AI processing in Settings → Privacy & AI processing. That screen also lets you copy your device identifier and prepare a deletion request. If you want your records erased, email us at [email protected] with your device identifier and we will delete them. You can stop any further data reaching us at any time by deleting the app.

Logs

Our application process logs retain only event source, severity and exception class. They do not retain your prompts, images, receipts, device identifier, IP address or download URLs. Identifiable job diagnostics and temporary uploads follow the one-hour expiry policy. Request-limit counters use device identifiers and IP addresses temporarily; they expire within one hour and are not written to disk. Providers and the network services that deliver requests have their own policies.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

All purchases happen inside Apple's App Store. We never see your card details, your Apple ID or your billing address.

When you subscribe or restore a subscription, the app sends us the signed transaction receipt that Apple issues. Our server verifies that it genuinely came from Apple, and only then records the entitlement. What we store is Apple's original transaction identifier (which stays the same across renewals), the product identifier, the expiry date, the App Store environment, and any revocation date . The app may also retry an unfinished purchase from an older version; our server copy is subject to the one-hour retention period. Verification is what lets a restored purchase work on a new device, and it is what stops someone else's client from claiming a subscription that was never bought.

6. Cookies

The app itself uses no cookies. This website sets one strictly necessary cookie carrying a cross-site request forgery token, which protects form submissions. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies on this site.

7. Children

Reimagine Home AI is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Because there are no accounts, we have no way to verify age; if you believe a child has submitted photos through the app, contact us and we will delete the associated records.

8. Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Stored images are kept under private, unguessable names and are only ever served through short-lived, expiring links. Job and gallery endpoints check that the device identifier on the request matches the one that owns the record, so one device cannot read another's results. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Our servers and the third-party AI providers described in section 3 operate in various countries, including the United States. Using the app involves your photographs being transferred to and processed in those countries.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because we hold nothing that identifies you, the only handle we have on your records is the device identifier described in section 1 — so any request has to include it. Email [email protected] and we will respond.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

11. Changes

If we change how the app handles your data — a new provider, a different retention period — we will update this page and change the date at the top.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy, or a deletion request: [email protected].
